Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC ) invited Chief Legal Officers (CLO) and General Counsel (GC) to participate in the 9th Annual Chief Legal Officer Survey. The information contained in this Executive Summary and the Key Findings, along with the survey's full report, can prove useful to corporate legal departments, auditors, law firms, and industry partners such as recruiters and litigation support providers. This year's survey addressed a number of issues including staffing, departmental organization, hiring plans, cost accounting, expectations for the coming year, changes to the role of the CLO, outside auditors and counsel, and firm demographics.
